Lluc-Alcari, also known as Es Carrer, is a small town located on the coast of Serra de Tramuntana, and belongs to the municipality of Deià.

It is made up of just over 20 buildings that, together, make up one of the most beautiful postcards in Mallorca.

Of the five defense towers that formerly protected this town from pirate attacks, it still has three: Casa d’Amunt, Can Simó and Can Apol·loni. In the latter, a fantastic, well-equipped hotel is located that never disappoints those who stay there.

It also has a small chapel where the image of the Mare de Déu dels Desemparats is venerated, who is honored on August 15 for the patron saint festivities.

From Llucalcari you can reach Es Canyaret through a stone staircase that descends between a landscape of olive and pine trees. Es Canyaret is a small cove of stones and rocks with transparent waters. It is highly appreciated for its source of fresh water that comes from the mountains. Nudism is practiced in the cove and some people use the mud that forms around the fountain as a relaxing ointment to take care of the skin.
